Someone pointed out to me the other day that since I am a pending-to-be-published author with the 'Holy Grail' that is a Book Contract - that I should be beyond the learning curve now. That I should know what I'm doing, right...?

So. I've always written. I banged out stories on my mom's old typewriter when I was a kid (at least, until I made a typo. that usually totally derailed me). I have journal upon journal of bad, porny fanfic from when I was in high school. Totally applies for writing, too. I've learned that if I take a 'break' for a month or two between books, then it becomes that much harder to climb back onto that wagon and start the next book. I can come up with an amazing list of excuses, too! Watch me!
